Foraging Color

2021 - ongoing

Foraging color from nature is a practice that requires patience. It means giving oneself time to go outdoors and immerse in the landscape. But first of all, it means walking, respecting the territory, and becoming informed about local flora and cultural traditions. This practice is an invitation to integrate the cycle of seasons with the notion of color. Its fundamental point is to learn to recognize forgotten plants and use local resources, foraged by the artist, grown in gardens, or from waste materials.
