This design features a repeating floral pattern, screen printed onto organic cotton textile using handmade natural ink derived from avocado pits that would otherwise go to waste. The project involved a collaborative effort to print a 4x3 meter fabric by hand, followed by hand-sewing it into cushion covers. Part of the Color is Alive project, this work explores sustainable screen printing techniques and the use of natural dyes to create ecological and conscious designs.
