The Garden of Colors
This project explores care, maintenance, and ecosystems through collective stewardship. Rooted in the principles of circular communities, it fosters interaction between people, plants, insects, pollinators, and animals, emphasizing biodiversity and regenerative practices.
Designed as a living experiment, the prioritizes tinctorial plants—species historically valued for their color properties, including forgotten and native dye plants. Following ecological principles of permaculture, no-dig soil management, companion planting, and organic mulching, it thrives without pesticides, sourcing only from biological nurseries. Through collective decision-making, volunteers engage in shared care and ecological thinking, addressing challenges with sustainability and reciprocity at the core.
The Garden of Colors is a space for learning, experimentation, and reimagining relationships with the land through regenerative gardening and natural crafts.
