The Craft of Papermaking

In collaboration with Loes Schepens at Paper Art & Design, Greta Desirèe Facchinato explored the traditional craft of Japanese Kozo paper-making from mulberry bark, alongside creating paper from leftover linen rags repurposed from her previous collaboration with Lykke Amsterdam. This resulted in a limited collection of organic, plant-based sheets, ideal for experimenting with bio-based natural inks. The project emphasizes sustainable practices, repurposing waste, and a deep connection to natural materials, embodying environmental mindfulness in both process and outcome.
