Which activities the workshop consist of
We will explore the basics of natural ink-making. The lesson will consist of an introduction to water-based inks, where we will look at an assortment of ingredients that can be foraged in our landscape. We will discuss processing hues for best results and we will test a few natural ink recipes, by using readily available plants and foods collected by the artist. Topics about light and colorfastness, the longevity of natural color as well as proper storage for your ink will also be covered.
